Global Parliamentary network mobilising over 1,000 legislators in more than 120 countries worldwide to effectively address issues of particular concern to the international community including the promotion of peace and democracy, gender equality, improved access to better health, international justice and accountability and disarmament. Working predominantly in developing countries, PGA is particularly focussed in promoting ratification and implementation of the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court (ICC), improved global regulation/control of the trade in Small Arms and Light Weapons and supporting the negotiation of an Arms Trade Treaty (ATT) as well as promoting gender equality, reproductive health and threats to the global environment.
