Newcastle University Business School has 2,500 students and 120 staff, making it one of the largest schools in Newcastle University. With critical strengths in entrepreneurship, finance, risk and regulation, and organizational performance, it is one of an elite group of business schools, worldwide, with EQUIS accreditation from the European Foundation of Management Development.
Its vision is to be a world-class Business School by being regionally rooted, nationally influential and globally respected. In Autumn 2011, the School will move to a state-of-the-art, purpose-built, single-site HQ at the £200 million Downing Plaza development on Barrack Road, opposite St James' Park. This building will provide first-class facilities for teaching, learning, research and engagement with industry.
