NewBlue, Inc., a privately-held Delaware corporation based in La Jolla, CA was founded by Todor J. Fay and Melissa Jordan Grey, seasoned technology entrepreneurs with a track record of creating and monetizing new media technologies.
Since the launch of its first collection of integrated video effects in 2006, NewBlue, has successfully capitalized on the burgeoning digital video market by creating NewBlueFX, the fastest-growing line of integrated digital video effects technologies and currently licensed by the following makers of digital video editing software: Adobe, Avid, Corel, Cyberlink, Magix, Sony, Thomson Media/Grass Valley, Pinnacle and Sony. Today, it’s leveraging its vast library of video processing technologies by developing its new, patent-pending one-click technology for polishing, personalizing and publishing video for mobile devices and desktop computers.
The company is comprised of 28 full-time team members, led by Todor J. Fay as founder, CEO/Chief Technology Officer and Melissa Jordan Grey as founder, Executive Chair/Chief Visionary Officer. NewBlue is profitable and currently employs two primary business models for its existing line of video processing and effects-based product line: retail sales through the website and OEM license revenue. Upon launch of Vibop!, the company will derive additional revenue from end-user subscription fees, as well as white label and third party licensing.
