Nanosys was founded in 2001 to drive the materials revolution by bringing the best IP and technology in the fields of inorganic nanomaterials and chemistry to bear on the innovation challenges faced by visionary manufacturers. Whereas process innovation was once king, manufacturers today face limits caused by the shortcomings of currently available materials. Our mission is to help overcome these limits by architecting new materials from naturally occurring, abundant elements with properties that enable amazing new products - such as laptops and cell phones with better color quality LCDs and longer battery life.

QuantumRailTM
The Nanosys QuantumRailTM enables LED display manufacturers to deliver a better visual experience using their existing manufacturing processes, at a fraction of the cost of alternatives. Architected from quantum dots, the Nanosys QuantumRailTM improves color gamut, saturation and brightness from LED sources while delivering higher power efficiency at a lower cost than alternatives like OLED.

SiNANOdeTM
Nanosys! SiNANOdeTM material increases the capacity of lithium ion batteries by more than 40 percent, or generations of traditional improvement, in a single step. As a process ready material, SiNANOdeTM also integrates easily into existing manufacturing platforms.
