Headquartered in Dallas, the company provides award-winning burglar and fire alarm monitored security system services for more than 700,000 residential and commercial customers throughout the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico.
Monitronics was named 2010 and 2008 North American Service Provider of the Year by Frost & Sullivan for operational skill and for attracting and retaining key dealer accounts. They were also cited by SDM Magazine as a Top 100 company consistently since 2002, ranked as one of the three largest security alarm monitoring companies in the United States.
In 2010, Monitronics' Monitoring Center Manager Greg Hurst won the Central Station Alarm Association Manager of the Year.
