In 2003, Mining Media Inc, a privately held Colorado corporation, was formed with the acquisition of E&MJ and Coal Age. In 2005, World Mining Equipment was added to the print portfolio and combined with E&MJ. Since then, the company has opened its world headquarters in Denver, Colorado, editorial offices in Jacksonville, Florida, and has grown to include three divisions: Publications, Events and Directories.
