The Michigan Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Violence (MCADSV) is dedicated to the empowerment of all the state's survivors of domestic and sexual violence.
Our goals:
1. Provide statewide leadership on public policy issues affecting survivors and the programs that serve them.
2. Promote comprehensive, community-based social change efforts to end domestic and sexual violence and build peaceful communities.
3. Promote the availability and accessibility of high-quality, culturally-relevant, domestic and sexual violence services and prevention programs.
4. Build capacity for community-specific solutions to ending domestic and sexual violence.
5. Encourage the leadership of women.

24-hour crisis intervention hotlines
Advocacy, counseling and support groups
Outreach and public education
Legal advocacy/court accompaniment
Forensic nurse examiner programs
Emergency safe shelters
Children’s programming
In 2009, the MCADSV statewide network of programs responded to 94,758 crisis calls from survivors of domestic and/or sexual assault.
