Since 2005, Marcy J Salon has been providing the Carmel, Indiana area with services to make people feel and look beautiful. Being an Aveda Concept Salon means that Marcy J Salon uses and supplies only Aveda products. The term Aveda (a-vay-da) originates from ‘Ayurveda’, a Sanskrit term meaning the "science of longevity" and a natural approach to maintaining and recovering health. This concept stresses treating the whole self and not just the symptoms, and knowing that there is no healthy body without a healthy spirit. This unification of mind and soul is what it means to live your best life. Making that connection is what sets Aveda apart and what makes Aveda. At Marcy J Salon we strive to uphold this concept, not only caring about your appearance, but also how you feel on the inside.
Giving back is part of our mission at Marcy J Salon and we are proud to participate in Aveda Earth Month, Breast Cancer Awareness, and Locks of Love. Locally, we sponsor events with select organizations and schools such as the Creekside Cat Race. As an Aveda salon we strive to set an example for environmental leadership and responsibility.
Some of our accomplishments include participation in Indianapolis Woman 7th annual dream makeover, providing a completely new look for the winner. Marcy J Salon was also selected to work with the women of the European Solheim Team. Marcy J Salon has also been featured in Legacies of Hamilton County.
