Marais Group is a manufacturer of trenchers (wheel trenchers; micro trenchers, chain trenchers) and a specialist in mechanical laying of networks.
The Marais Group is based on three specialities:
1 - The historic speciality: the construction of innovative trenchers designed for sale and rental for the installation in France and abroad of all types of networks in all kind of environment:
•Telecommunications (Optical Fibre, ...)
•Electricity (High Voltage, ...)
•Water, drainage
•Gas, etc.
2 - Piloting the construction of turn-key telecommunication networks in partnership with our civil engineering customers in France and abroad.
This speciality is accompanied by an expertise and a technical consulting service which optimises the cost and lead times for construction.
3 - Operation of telecommunication networks constructed by Marais Group in the form of mutualization. A speciality called “operator of operators”. Marais constructs its own telecommunication network and offers the opportunity to operators, access suppliers, public and private companies to buy or to rent the optical fibre and/or the broadband.
The head office and workshop buildings have been located in Durtal since 2001. Marais trenchers are renowned all over the world and the Group is now constituted of five subsidiaries (Algeria, Australia, France, Tunisia, South Africa) .
