Our services include Data Capture Services (large format and high volume scanning and indexing/key punching/OCR/ICR), Chart Digitising, Software Development, GIS Systems, Training & Consultancy, EU Farm Payment Consultancy & Services and OSNI Mapping.
Mallon Technology was incorporated in 1995 to consolidate the IT activities of Mallon Group engineering companies. It was in that year that we won our first major contract with the Department of Agriculture and Food, Ireland. This allowed us the opportunity to further our reputation as a leader in the GIS market and demonstrate our capability to other EU countries. In February 1997, the company won the contract for the development of a Land Parcel Identification System for the Finnish Ministry of Agriculture. This success was built upon with a multi award scheme of Finnish public and private sector projects.
Later in 1997, Mallon Technology began the production of the Diamond Product Suite. Originally designed to support Building Control, this market-leading portfolio now includes fully integrated solutions for fire certification management, pound management, litter fine management and waste management, and continues to undergo rigorous development.
Since then, we have successfully completed projects with numerous county councils and such public and private sector organizations as the Department of Communication, Marine and Natural Resources, Mentor, Northern Ireland Housing Executive and Northern Ireland Electricity.
In early 2005, the company branched into the field of digital data management and having invested in a full range of scanning equipment for our Cookstown head office, allowing us to scan documents up to A0 size as well as microfiche slides, both on and off-site.
