Lockyer Insurance started from humble beginnings. It was founded by Annette Lockyer in 1981, as a small shop counter in Normanton, serving the local community. In the past 3 decades it has grown considerably and is now a member of Broker Network, who along with their parent company Towergate, currently place around £1.8bn of insurance every year.
This relationship with Broker Network allows Lockyer Insurance to maintain its independence, yet have the buying power to get the most competitive deals around, and access to products that are exclusive to network members.
Jon Newall (Annette’s Son) has owned and run Lockyer Insurance since 2000, and has grown the company to its current levels through his attention to detail and great customer service.
