Established in 1999, Liv-ex is the global marketplace for fine wine. The Liv-ex Fine Wine Exchange provides an integrated trading and settlement platform, bringing new standards of efficiency and transparency to a traditionally opaque market. Liv-ex is a global business, with members in 33 countries spread across six continents. It is estimated that the Liv-ex membership accounts for more than three-quarters of global fine wine turnover.
In its ten years of operation, Liv-ex has built the world’s largest database of standardised fine wine prices and is now also the leading source of independent and impartial market data. Its subsidiary, Vine International, provides a specialist storage and transport service for merchants and funds which trade fine wine.
