Leigh Sports Village Company oversees the management of the Leigh Sports Village - an £83 million multi-use complex located in Greater Manchester. The company is solely responsible for the overall management of the site and exclusively Leigh Sports Village Stadium and Pavilion sports pitches.
The Sports Village contains a wide range of sport, recreation, health, education and business facilities, including an 11,000 seater stadium, athletics stadium, floodlit artificial 3G & grass sports pitches, indoor sports centre, dedicated health facilities, Leigh Sixth Form College, a high quality hotelv and Supermarket and Petrol Station. Leigh Sports Village Stadium is home to Leigh Centurions Rugby League Club and Blackburn Rovers Reserves and hosts a number of high profile sporting and non-sporting events, such as the 2011 Gillette Four Nations match between England and Wales and Wigan Expo 2011.
Leigh Sports Village Company works with a wide range of partners including Wigan Council, Wigan Leisure and Culture Trust, Ashton, Wigan and Leigh NHS, Wigan and Leigh Disability Partnership, Park Inn hotels and professional and amateur sporting clubs.
