Laying the Foundation (LTF) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing quality teacher-to-teacher training, classroom-ready materials and web-based resources to improve the quality of mathematics, science and English instruction.
The goal of LTF is to improve the teacher corps in the United States. To this end, the LTF program provides math, science and English teachers in grades 6-12 with the content knowledge, teaching strategies, vertically aligned materials, and assessments necessary to prepare students for AP-level coursework. Additionally, the emphasis in technology in math and science classrooms provides more relevant and engaging coursework for students preparing to enter STEM-related fields.
