Law Journal Television/LJTV Media and Creative Services is a comprehensive broadcast and video, online and new media production company.
Broadcast: Founded in 1988 by attorney and former New Jersey prosecutor Christopher Naughton, the company has broadcast the legal talk, news and feature television program initially called "Law Journal," now "The American Law Journal."
Now in its 21st season, American Law Journal airs Monday evenings prime-time on the Philadelphia CNN-News affiliate WFMZ to Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware. Panel discussion and feature reports address consumer, business and Constitutional issues with attorneys, Judges, elected officials, physicians and others.
Video, online and new media production: Since early in the two decades of broadcast, attorneys that had appeared on Law Journal asked for copies of their appearances. They frequently wanted editing to showcase their practice. Once law firms had websites, forward- thinking practitioners wanted video of their appearances.
Throughout this evolution, the Law Journal production team blended broadcast quality with proprietary video production to create cutting-edge video for legal websites. The edge--when a lawyer appears on a program that broadcasts on a known, respected network affiliate, that footage has far and above more "weight" than a video of a talking head. Attorneys loved it--they could show themselves in action, sparring with adversaries, interacting with Judges and others.
Law firms asked: "How about video-intensive websites?," "Can you take my online marketing (Google, etc.) to a new level with video?," "I need a tribute/anniversary video for our firm." Creativity plus talent, research and conception sprinkled with inspiration--LJTV Media and Creative Services was in full swing.
