Founded in 1854 and based in Chicago, the Law Bulletin Publishing Company is one of the oldest companies doing business within that city. And, our flagship publication, The Chicago Daily Law Bulletin® is the oldest daily courts newspaper in the country, and serves the largest unified court system in America.

The daily newspaper and monthly legal magazine, the Chicago Lawyer®, are consistently recognized for editorial excellence, and have received numerous awards.

The company has been and continues to be an industry leader in product development and the use of technology. For example, in 1985 the Law Bulletin Publishing Company launched the first court docket service in America. This service was distributed electronically long before America's major newspapers were available online. Today, our Law Bulletin Information Network® provides online legal research and court docket services to 96% of the top law firms in Chicago as well as to numerous smaller law offices, corporate law departments and government agencies.

Among our most widely recognized products are the Jury Verdict services, consisting of print and online reports and customized research; Sullivan's Law Directory®, the most comprehensive directory of lawyers and judges in Illinois; and the Midwest Real Estate News®, which is part of the company's extensive line of real estate news and information products. Other major areas of business include court newspapers in Ohio such as the Akron Legal News®; and Index Publishing Corporation, a publisher of municipal codes and ordinances.
