The CLU Foundation bestowed on itself the goal of encouraging young designers to develop innovative lighting concepts for exterior public spaces. To achieve this and serve its purpose, the CLU Foundation hatched the plans for a creative competition that it holds annually since then, attributing grants to numerous projects based on their merit.
The CLU Foundation aims excellence by encouraging conscious integration of the plastic quality of the products, technical advancements in exterior lighting and environmental respect.

La Fondation CLU s'est donnée comme but d'encourager les jeunes designers à développer des concepts d'éclairage innovateurs pour les espaces extérieurs publics. Pour atteindre cet objectif et répondre à son but, la Fondation CLU a mis sur pied un concours de création qu'elle organise chaque année, attribuant ainsi des bourses à de nombreux projets en fonction de leur mérite.
La Fondation CLU vise l’excellence en valorisant l’intégration consciencieuse de la qualité plastique des produits, l’avancement technologique en éclairage extérieur et le respect de l’environnement.
