Kaplaaki has brought together students of Industrial Management since 1974.
Colorful history dating back farther than any other Lappeenranta University of Technology student organization. In thirty years Kaplaaki has grown the biggest Industrial Management Guild in Northern Europe. Each year the guild associated with over 100 new freshmen. Kaplaaki has about 800 members.
The main aims of the guild are lobbying, furtherance of education and arrange different kind of activity for the members. Membership is open to all LUT’s students who has registered being a student of Industrial Management department.
