JVS Toronto is a non-profit organization that partners with both the government and business sectors to help people succeed.
Originally founded by the Jewish community at the end of the Second World War, we have evolved into a broad-based community organization whose name is synonymous with helping people of diverse backgrounds to meet their educational and employment goals. We have grown from a staff of three to approximately 200 talented and committed professionals, and are still growing to meet the challenges of today and tomorrow.
We currently offer an expansive range of services throughout the Greater Toronto Area to thousands of unemployed and underemployed individuals. These include youth, persons with disabilities, women, children, and newcomers. Since its inception, JVS Toronto has helped over 500,000 people fulfill their potential through a variety of counselling and support programs modeled on best practice approaches.
JVS Toronto proudly continues the tradition of bringing services to people in their own communities, and now operates out of 7 locations in the GTA.
