The Joseph C. Monastra (JCM) Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research, a 501C3 organization, was established in 2002 in honor of the father and husband who passed away only four weeks after being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Since that time, the mission of this foundation has been to engage in charitable, educational and scientific activities, including funding research, scientific endeavors and other activities directed at the eradication of cancer specifically pancreatic cancer.
