The Founder :
Dr David Frank HAINES, “David”, obtained his B.Sc.(Eng) in Mechanical Engineering and Ph.D. in Automatic Control from University College London in 1964 and 1967 respectively. After working for Westland Helicopters (Yeovil, England – 1967-1969) and Kode Ltd (Calne, England – 1969-1973) he joined the then University of Singapore (now NUS) as a Lecturer .
