Intelbras, a 100% Brazilian company, is a leader in the Brazilian market for PABXs, telephones and communications systems for large building complexes. Founded in 1976, it operates in the fields of telecommunications, electronic security systems and information technology, with offices throughout Brazil and in several Latin American and African countries. Intelbras products are sold in approximately 9,000 retail stores and via 6,000 corporate dealers.
Intelbras has one of the largest private research and development centers in Latin America, with one of the largest technical assistance networks in the Brazilian market, as well as having ISO 9001 and 14001 (environmental) certifications.
