IDT Wins Two UBM ACE Awards At the March 27, 2012 awards ceremony, IDT was proud to receive this prestigious award for two of our nominees:
- Michael S. McCorquodale, Ph.D., general manager of the Silicon Frequency Control group at IDT was awarded the “Innovator of the Year” for his pioneering work to successfully realize the simple and highly desired concept of replacing mechanical quartz crystal oscillators with all-silicon (CMOS) oscillators.
- The IDT 3LG family of ±50 ppm CrystalFree solid-state oscillators won the “Ultimate Products” award in the Analog IC category. The IDT 3LG crystal-oscillator (XO) replacement products save up to 75 percent power and can be used in a broad range of applications requiring a ±50 ppm timing reference, including computing, communications and consumer markets. IDT’s 3LG family of solid-state oscillators recently claimed the ‘2011 Product of the Year’ Award from Electronic Products magazine.
