IGEN Biotech is a privately owned company focusing on Research, Development and Innovation (R+D+I) in the biotechnology field.
With our high-level science and business teams, our company aims to be a principal reference in Translational Research.
The scientific team is led by Dr. Alfredo Santana, a biochemist with specializations in Genetics, Molecular Biology, and Cellular Biology. He is also a specialist in Clinical Analyses and a Doctor of Medicine and Surgery. Dr. Noelia Cañas, biologist and doctor of Neuroscience, is in charge of the Laboratory. IGEN further includes a scientific committee, coordinated by Dr. Luis Valenciano, which act as consultants to the management team.
The business team is led by Javier Guridi (President and CEO), who has a degree in Economics, and broad business experience in various economic sectors, and David Segarra (Managing Director), Engineer and holder of a MBA from IESE Business School, with a background in consulting and management for industrial and technology companies.
