Product Overview
ICANotes is a comprehensive electronic healthcare record (EHR) system designed by a clinical psychiatrist to be specialized for mental health. The software helps clinicians create detailed, thorough, and individualized electronic mental health records with little or no typing or dictating. A variety of practice management functionality is included for scheduling, e-prescribing, billing, and reporting.
The program supports a variety of clinical disciplines and settings, including inpatient and outpatient mental health programs. ICANotes self-codes, automatically calculating the highest permissible evaluation/management Medicare/Medicaid service code. Notes for specialized patient populations, such as patients with substance abuse problems, eating disorders, geropsychiatric problems, and children and adolescents are also supported.
ICANotes is web-based, allowing you to easily and securely access your patient records from any computer with an internet connection. I have used 6 different EMRs and hands down this is without peer. User friendly (and modifiable), developed, as most other EMRs are not, with the clinical note driving the rest of the features. ICANtes resides in the cloud, obviating the dual hassles of maintenance and upgrades. It is quick and easy- allowing for concurrent documentation. In addition to the clinical note, I use the prescription writer, scheduler, and billing software. E billing is done with a few simple mouse clicks.- August 6, 2011
