The owner, Lorraine Hopping Egan, has produced more than 40 books for children and teachers and 12 board games, along with serving as the editor of several national children's magazines. Though these materials span the curriculum, specialties include science, math, English language (ELL), and literature. She was the founding editor of SuperScience magazine and editor of Joy Hakim's Story of Science series.
