Healthcare Information Xchange of New York (HIXNY) is a community-based, not-for-profit regional health information organization (RHIO) operating a health information exchange and whose members include physician organizations, hospitals, and health plans.
HIXNY serves a 17-county region in the Capital Region and Northern New York State. Its members work collaboratively to share medical information in a secure, online, privacy-protected environment to enable more certain, efficient, and better decisions at the point of care for the ultimate benefit of patients.
