just spent a weekend at walvanda a warli village. it was a lovely back to basics trip no cell phones no deadlines no gadgets at all...fun food and shelter the way the world should be lived .inir and vijay were great organisers humble and passionate . cant wait to get to purushawadi. with urban living and the concept of more being the cool new mantra we are forgetting how life can be actually lived...also if this helps others get back on their feet and live in dignity even better. tku grassroutes

Live the true life.. Corporates like us are missing a lot of good things in life. Live with the villagers and you will realize that money isn't everything. Even today people survive with a barter system. I have witnessed this with Grassroutes. Its so ironic that we ruin our health to make the money and eventually spend all of them to get back our health.

The Purushwadi experience is superlatively out of the Box. Being an avid trekker and nature lover, I was up for the challenge of Purushwadi the moment I heard of it. It offered me everything and more in return of what I wanted and ever aspired to do in a rural homestay. Datta, in my opinion is their lynchpin... if you're lucky to have his company alongside, you will be inundated with exciting stories about all the different places in and around Purushwadi... full paisa vasool. ;))

I belong to the third generation after my family migrated from agriculture in our native village. I have absolutely no idea as to how it would have been. Stories of heard from my grand parents came alive when during my short stay at the village. Thank you Grassroutes! :)

When I was 6 the only village in knew was my native place. I used to spend my vacation milking goats, swimming in the river, running behind fowl and climbing trees. Today things have change the only connect is with the place is it’s my native land. The landscape has changed from meadow to concrete. Thanks You to Grassroutes to relive my childhood.
