Start-ups can be a major driver of innovation in security, but at present it is difficult for entrepreneurs to break through the barriers of large integrators and government buyers. Technology that could be making us all safer might not reach the public, because of these barriers.
Our annual competition and events company launched at London Business School in 2006 hopes to change this. The Global Security Challenge (GSC) is a central hub for security innovators, start-ups and investors.
We run leading international competitions to find and select the most promising security technology startups in the world. Our finalists and winners from the previous competitions have subsequently raised over $80 million in new capital.
