GIT Consult was founded in Berkeley, California in the year 2000. That year we also opened our Prague, Czech Republic office. At the time our focus was on placing IT & Telco specialists from Eastern Europe with companies in the Silicon Valley to meet the ever-growing need of the internet boom. After the internet bubble burst we started focusing more and more on placing IT & Telco professionals in the local markets. In 2004 we opened our office in Bratislava, Slovakia. In March 2006 the company was acquired by Empresaria plc., a publicly listed company headquartered in the UK. We opened our newest office in Kosice, Slovakia at the end of 2006.
