The Genesee Regional Chamber of Commerce represents nearly 1,000 businesses throughout mid Michigan.
The Chamber acts as a strong advocate for the region's business community, and offers a number of programs to new and prospective businesses. These programs help advance economic development, educational, and public policy initiatives and interests for Chamber members.
The following are just a few of the many programs and services that can help companies reduce costs and increase profitability:
-The Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) provides training and assistance to companies that want to sell to the government.
-Money-saving programs that help reduce shipping, office, and telecommunications costs for businesses of all sizes.
-A partnership with Blue Cross Blue Shield that provides business members with lower-cost insurance coverage for employees.
The Chamber also has established several councils and advisory groups to help improve the community and support the region's business owners. These include the Women's Business Council, the Small Business Council, and the African American Advisory Group.
