Garrett Marchant is only fifteen, but he has done more than the average teen has done by this age. Garrett is a race car driver from Roanoke Rapids, NC and has started to make an impact in the racing world. In his first year behind the wheel Garrett took home a second place finish in his first race, and by the fourth race he was in victory lane. Some of the other stats from the 2010 season include ten starts, nine top five and ten top ten finishes.
In 2011 Garrett continued racing his Pure Stock race car, right, at Orange County and South Boston Speedways. Garrett started in 8 races and learned a lot about racing as he got more laps under his belt. Garrett explains on his blog, how he learned a lot and had misfortune alot during the 2011 season. Garrett’s last race of the 2011 season was in a Limited Late Model to get himself ready for 2012. In this race Garrett started 13th and finished 10th with a very ill handling loose racecar.
