Fublo is a goal-driven development company founded by Mark Jenkins and James Cooke. We design, develop and manage engaging websites built on WordPress.
We met at Time Out London in 2007 and started working together to build a WordPress based music blog called Friedmylittlebrain. Fried immediately gained contributors and, as we launched more blogs in art and fashion, we formed Team Fublo to be a collective umbrella to cover the network.
By 2010, we had both left Time Out and were working as freelancers. During that year we completed a number of projects together including work for Virgin Digital Help and Architecture for Everyone. As the number and size of projects we were undertaking together were increasing, we decided to start a company together to grow our business.
Fublo Ltd was founded at the end of 2010 with Mark and James as directors and started trading 1st January 2011. The company continued the relationships we had established as freelancers, built new ones and also took over responsibility and ownership of the Team Fublo blog network.
Mark works primarily with design and front end development. His career includes work with a varied client base – from large companies like Hilton International, to charities like The Stephen Lawrence Foundation.
As a traditionally trained programmer, James works in backend development and strategy, with the occasional hop to Sweden to teach programming modules at Hyper Island.
