Friends of the Orphans supports the Nuestros Pequeños Hermanos (NPH, Spanish for "Our Little Brothers and Sisters") network of homes and their outreach programs in Latin America and the Caribbean. Together, we transform the lives of orphaned, abandoned and disadvantaged children by creating families for life through values of unconditional love, shared responsibility and education. This enables children to transcend poverty and grow into caring and productive members of their communities.
Nuestros Pequeños Hermanos (NPH) currently cares for more than 3,700 children in Bolivia, the Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua and Peru. Since its founding in 1954 by Father William B. Wasson, NPH has provided loving and stable homes to nearly 16,000 children. In 2010, NPH outreach programs assisted over one million children and adults in Haiti alone.
Donations to Friends of the Orphans, Tax ID# 65-1229309, are tax deductible as provided by law and help provide NPH children with food, clothing, shelter, health care, education and hope for the future. By making a difference in the lives of the children through volunteer and donation opportunities, our supporters’ lives are enhanced as well.
