FLEXISS is a Website development and training company. FLEXISS started as a side-project of Operating Manager Ross Barefoot while he was still the Vice President and General Manager of Bicycle Parts Pacific, a family-owned distributor and manufacturer of bicycle parts and accessories active from 1974 until its purchase by Mountain Racing Products in 2000. After the sale of Bicycle Parts Pacific, Ross began producing brochure-ware sites for a small number of clients interested in getting online.
Making use of his programming background, within short order Ross had transitioned to creating database-driven Web sites targeted at the real estate industry and small merchants entering the fledgling realm of ecommerce.
Along with the changing face of the Internet, FLEXISS has also had to make many changes. Currently FLEXISS is making yet another transition, from programming and development organization to a consulting and coaching role, which seems more in step with the needs of its 100+ clients.
