First Wind is an independent North American wind energy company focused exclusively on the development, ownership and operation of wind energy projects. We currently focus on developing our projects in the northeastern and western regions of the U.S. and in Hawaii, and already operate seven wind energy facilities with 504 megawatts (MW) of capacity. First Wind is currently developing wind energy projects in several markets through various subsidiary companies.
