Föreningen Uppsalaekonomerna is a non-profit student association at the University of Uppsala. It has about 3000 members of which 250 are active and 45 elected representatives and is therefore one of the biggest student associations in Uppsala.
Föreningen Uppsalaekonomerna was founded in 1971. The main goal of the association is to function as a channel between the university, the students and the industry, to strengthen the relations between the students and the industry, to work for a better education and to create social events.
Other goals is to prepare the students for future employments, to work professionally with its business partners and create popular and well visited events and create a creative atmosphere where the students are given an opportunity to make practice of their theoretical knowledge.
Since 2006, the association is also functioning as a recruitment platform through their homepage Career Service.
The association also has its own Magazine, Reversen, which is given out 6 times/year and has about 3000 readers.
