The FoedevareBanken is the first nonprofit organization in Denmark whose mission is to create a larger access to free healthy food for socially vulnerable people. Participants' physical and mental well-being enhanced by increased intake of healthy foods. The FoedvareBanken is the member of European Federation of Food Banks and is adopting the same practices as in U.S.A, England, Canada, Germany and many other countries in the world.
The primary goal of The FoedevareBanken is to collect quality food from all corners of the food industry and delivers them to local relief organizations and projects that are registered by The FoedevareBanken.
It is evident that there is a large scope for The FoedevareBanken to develop and increase the number and range of food companies with which we can work to divert quality food from going to landfill.
FødevareBanken relies on the support of individuals, companies, trusts & foundations by helping us we are able to work to provide food, training and support to thousands of vulnerable people everyday.
