ENERCON GmbH has stablished it's headquarters in Aurich, Germany since 1984, when the first turbine was developed. And now with more than 15.000 turbines and over 19GW of Wind power installed capacity worldwide is one of most advanced wind turbines manufacturer of the world.
Besides other subsidiary companies like several production facilities and O&M Services in Portugal, ENERCON has established a branch in this country that currently produces 15% of it's electrical consumption from the wind power.
The Portuguese branch of ENERCON holds some specialist areas of work: R&D, Site Assessment and also Project Management and Sales.
The services provided by this branch are extended not only to Portugal and Iberia, but also overseas.
