Efficiency Nova Scotia Corporation is a new independent organization responsible for helping Nova Scotians reduce their energy consumption and improve their energy efficiency at home and at work. It was established by legislation in late 2009.
Collectively, through large and small efforts, Nova Scotians have saved enough electricity since 2008 to power all the homes in Shelburne, Cumberland, Antigonish and Victoria counties combined for one year. That’s more than 30,000 homes. Or put another way, it’s enough electricity to power 6,500 of small and medium sized businesses for a year.
To get involved and to find out how to start saving, contact one of our program advisors at 1-877-999-6035 or info@efficiencyns.ca or visit the For Homes or For Businesses sections of our website at www.efficiencyns.ca
