Eastleigh Transition Network tackles issues of climate change, rising oil prices, and encourages sustainable and low impact living around Eastleigh Borough.
It's main success is the Highbridge Farm Community Project in which 100 families commit to 10 hours per month to get a reduced rate on locally grown produce.
Other projects involve spontaneous foraging: Flash Foraging, workshops including 'How to Make a Nest for Bees' and 'Christmas Wreath Making'.
ETNet aims to be at local events spreading the word of 'Transition'. It also holds 4 film screenings at The Point in Eastleigh that revolve around it's aims.
Theme groups include energy, transport, local food, recycling, conservation, and biodiversity.
