Founded in 1882, Eastern Washington University is a regional, comprehensive public university located in Cheney, Wash., with programs also offered in Bellevue, Everett, Kent, Mount Vernon, Seattle, Shoreline, Spokane, Tacoma, Vancouver and Yakima.
Eastern offers more than 100 fields of study and a low student-to-faculty ratio of 21 to 1. Sixty-six percent of Eastern first-year students live on the university’s 300-acre campus, approximately 16 miles from Spokane, Wash.
