The East Coast Asian American Student Union (ECAASU) is a 501(c)(3) run by students to serve the Asian American community.
Our mission is to educate ourselves and others, to organize and to mobilize. We seek to cultivate a common understand of and a greater respect for the APA community by advancing the social equality of all minorities, eliminating prejudice and discrimination, defending human and civil rights, and combating racism and hate crimes.
With the understanding that the APA community is always dynamic, inherent in the goals of ECAASU is our ability to adapt to the evolving issues facing APA. Nevertheless, we remain steadfast in our goal of serving the community by promoting community-building and mutual understanding among APAs of different nationalities and all people of color.
