In 1980 two brothers, David and Daniel Dennis, bought a used truck, one portable welding machine, and asked a few friends to work out a 1000 sq ft shop on Waters Park Road in Austin TX. Today, Dennis Steel has grown to be the third largest steel fabrication and erection sub- contractor in Texas, with approximately 100 employees.
Over the past 30 years Dennis Steel has developed an excellent reputation as a turnkey structural steel fabrication and erection contractor. Dennis Steel takes great pride in satisfying its customers' needs and has worked with most of the major Central Texas general contractors for many years as a result of our commitment to our craft and excellent workmanship.
Dennis Steel prides itself on its commitment to Quality and Safety. We are proud to be certified by the American Institute of Steel Construction, which keeps the focus on every aspect of quality. Our Quality Management Team ensures the quality of our work is closely monitored in all facets of the process - from fitting and welding to final installation. Dennis Steel also employs a full time Safety Manager that ensures our strict adherence to OSHA regulations, and the safety of our employees.
