The group originates from a single shipyard founded in Holland in 1927 and is active in ship newbuilding and repair as well as marine services. With an annual turnover of approximately 1,3 billion euro, Damen is the largest shipbuilding group in The Netherlands and one of the leading builders of workboats and fast craft worldwide.
Damen focuses on construction of standardised proven designs and ongoing product development, offering our clients advantages such as optimized performances and reliability, short delivery times and low operational costs. Available designs include both commercial and military vessels, ranging from tugs, workboats, dredgers, buoy laying and offshore vessels, to cargo vessels, fast ferries, patrol boats, crew boats and other fast craft.
