The Drug and Alcohol Council for Safe Workplaces (DACSAW) is a "working together" partnership consisting of major industrial owners, construction and maintenance firms, labour providers, union and non-union organizations, industry associations, government, police, and community organizations, all focused on eliminating the workplace safety risks associated with alcohol and/or drug use.
In the first instance this Council will be dedicated to providing educational programs on alcohol and drug use that affects safe workplace conditions to its member organization. Direction will be provided by members of the Council through the Board of Directors.
