Creative Calgary is a collaboration between a mother and daughter team Laurie (HaathI project management) and Carly Gloge (Warb Web) in hopes of bringing together people who play and work in Calgary but have a need to push the envelope and be more creative.
Creative Calgary entered a Calgary venue of Global Game Jam in January 2010 for the first time. It was fun.
the vision is to bring together people, freelancers, hobbyists and others to meet and support each other in creative projects of any type. Game development is our starting point but creative projects with different skills working together is where we see the value.
There are no board members, or even employees. We do have some wonderful partners. Stay tuned for a list of cool people we are partnering with in 2011.
