ClearStructure Financial Technology was formed in 1999 as Atlantic Information Services. Originally the IT group for Atlantic Asset Management (AAM), ClearStructure was created to continue the development and marketing of software which had initially been built internally at AAM. The effort focused on extending the functionality of the then existing in-house portfolio management and accounting system to include structured finance capabilities.
