Cie Gilles Jobin was founded in 1997 by internationally recognized choreographer, Gilles Jobin whose creations have regularly attracted the professional contemporary scene. Putting forward his choreographic creations outside of the established aesthetics, he has emerged as the leader of a new generation of independent Swiss choreographers. Besides his own dance productions, he has made of his company and of his Genevan headquarters of Studio 44, a pioneering place for dancers and for the recognition of contemporary dance in Switzerland, as well as for the stimulation of international exchange by means of various initiatives, such as: educational activities, dance and new media workshops, artistic and research residencies, collaborative projects with countries from Africa and South-America.

A+B=X (1997), Macrocosm (1999), Braindance (1999), The Moebius Strip (2001), Under Construction (2002), TWO-THOUSAND-AND-THREE (2003 – Commissioned by the Ballet du Grand Théâtre of Geneva), all these pieces with original music by Franz Treichler (Young Gods). Delicado (2004 – Commissioned by the Ballet Gulbenkian in Lisbon), Steak House (2005), Double Deux (2006), Moebius Kids (2007), Text To Speech (2008), Black Swan (2009), Le Chaînon Manquant - The Missing Link (2010), Spider Galaxies (2011), all these pieces with original music by Cristian Vogel, along with Carla Scaletti for Spider Galaxies.
