Supporting and encouraging our children to be safe, healthy, nurtured and happy, at home, in their communities and beyond.
Based on a book by one mum, Children’s Guide is an Australian website currently being developed with the help of a few more mums (and friends), for parents and carers of children from birth to teens, the businesses who offer them products and services, activities for kids of all ages, and events the whole family can enjoy.
Children’s Guide is not a big business or government publication and receives no external funding. There are 3 of us working on the Guide, two of us working around our kids.
Putting together the original Children's Guide book enabled us, businesses and parents, to identify which sections and information are useful and referred to regularly, and what was missing. We also listened to parents who expressed their desire for a simple to use site, with no advertising, distracting pop ups, scrolling messages, AdWords or general bombardment of information.
So now we’ve revised, fine tuned, updated and perfected the layout and type of information contained in what we hope you will find an exciting and invaluable website.
If you offer a product or service for Australian kids aged 0-12 and their families, you can register to include your business details for free, add your logo for a small fee, or have an exclusive page.
